The blog I am scraping does not have a feed or any export ability. Nor do the users want to give up their original blogs but they do want to automatically cross post to our new MLDfamily.org blogs.

Turns out using PERL and CURL are quite manageable and more adaptable than Daper. WordPress can import RSS feeds so we are creating a RSS feed from our scraped content. We'll automate the scrap, conversion and import shortly.
