I think of Facebook (FB) as a walled garden to share with a select community rather than a place to publish fully public status updates.
I believe there are FB applications that will automatically post FB status updates to services like Twitter or Identi.ca that are specifically designed for public updates and have feed capabilities. Perhaps you could establish a twitter/identi.ca account for your founder, install the right FB app to post his/her FB status updates to twitter/identi.ca, and embed that on your site.
There may also be FB applications specifically to do what you want directly.
