Day On at Open Source Bridge

Join Day On at the first annual Open Source Bridge conference in Portland, Oregon. As usual, we are partnering with two groups focused on helping nonprofits with technology: the Nonprofit Technology Network 501 Tech Club and NetSquared NetTuesday.

Day On will be at the Oregon Convention Center throughout OSBridge (9am-5pm, 6/17-19) in Exhibit Hall B, signing up new geekly volunteers. We also welcome nonprofits seeking geekly advice and assistance to drop by (no conference registration required) for free technology consultation.

Evening Meetup for Nonprofits & Geeks

We especially invite nonprofits to two special evening events located in the OSBridge Hacker Lounge at Portland's Downtown Hilton, 6-7pm Wed 17 June and 6-7pm Thu 18 June. Drop in with your technology needs to get advice on how you might meet them, and, if possible, hands on help with specific issues.

Nonprofits and geeks can sign up here to let us know you'll be attending the evening Hacker Lounge sessions.

Propose a Special Project for Day On Geek Volunteers

During OSBridge's Friday 6/19 "unconference" day, Day On will be holding special sessions where geek "ninja" teams will focus on select, special projects for nonprofit organizations.

To participate, nonprofits should register here at Day On and post a request for help. A select number of practical, deserving nonprofit requests for help will become the focus of Day On geek volunteers on Friday, 6/19. Nonprofits are also welcome to attend on Friday to collaborate with geeks live during the unconference sessions.

Nonprofit requests for help that are not chosen for focus during OSBridge still participate in the overall Day On network and we will work to connect your request with an appropriate geek volunteer.
